Your files

Layersqueeze makes your Photoshop files smaller inside your web browser. The file you choose is read by this page on your computer and the smaller copy is made there too. It is never uploaded to us or anyone else.

You don't have to take our word for it. The site sends a security policy with every page that lets it connect only back to layersqueeze.com, and there is no code that sends file contents anywhere. Once the page has loaded you can even turn off your internet connection and the tool keeps working.

What the tool reports

When the tool finishes a file, it sends us a short anonymous note so we can count how often it's used and how well it works: the file's size rounded to the nearest megabyte, the share that was saved, how long it took, and which steps were on. The note has no file name, no file contents and nothing that identifies you.

Visits

When you open a page, our server records which page it was, the website you came from (just its name, such as google.com), your country as our hosting provider reports it, and whether you're on a phone or a computer. We don't keep IP addresses, we don't use cookies, and there are no third-party analytics, ads or trackers on the site.

Email

If you sign up for updates, we store your email address, when you signed up and which form you used. We use it only to email you about Layersqueeze, and we never sell or share it. To be removed, write to hello@layersqueeze.com and we'll delete it.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare, which handles the connection between your browser and our server and may keep its own security logs. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
